Outline Itinerary

Fri 18th May:	Teams arrive / check in to hotel / optional welcome meeting
Sat 19th May:	The 9th Majorca 6's football tournament, followed by presentation of the trophies and socialising. Evening free.
Sun 20th May:	Free day to relax by the pool or on the beach, or enter into the ISL Palma Open.
Mon 21st May:	Teams depart. Extra nights available at £30 per person.

Flights

Flights are available from most U.K airports, we can assist if required. Teams can travel any dates around the tournament day in order to secure cheapest flights.

Low cost airlines Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2, Bmibaby, Monarch, Thomson and others offer reasonably priced flights to Majorca.

Transfer time from Palma Airport to Magaluf is approximately 30 minutes.

Accommodation

We feature the 3* Hotel Samos and the Torrenova Apartments in Magaluf.

Samos Hotel rooms are twin bedded with shower, w.c. and satellite T.V. Half board basis; breakfast and dinner (buffet basis).

The Torrenova Apartments are studios or 1 bedroom apartments (maximum 4 persons) with kitchen, bathroom and balcony. Self catering basis.

For those seeking a quieter stay we use the 3*+ Hotel Rey Don Jaime in nearby Santa Ponsa, just 10 minutes from Magaluf.

Football

The football tournament is played in a superb setting next to the 5 mile sandy beach in Playa de Palma, a modern resort located between Arenal and Ca'n Pastilla. It's a new facility with latest generation artificial pitches, bar and restaurant with satellite TV and beer terrace.

Matches are 2 x 10 minutes and all teams play a minimum of 6 games.

Teams are expected from UK and Spain with teams also representing ex-pat communities on the island, including Holland and Argentina.

History

2012 sees the 9th event and previous winners of the tournament include Poynton RBL (Stockport), Villa FC (Liverpool) , Robin Hood (Portsmouth), Clanfield FC (Portsmouth), Arenal All Stars (Majorca), Elect (Liverpool) and Bridge House (Herts).
