The Amsterdam Cup is a youth tournament for boys U8 to U17 held every Whitsun

Location

The Amsterdam Cup will be played for the 20th time in 2018, between the city and the Dutch coast.

Outline Itinerary

Thursday 24th May Depart UK if travelling via Hull – Rotterdam or Newcastle – Amsterdam ferry by coach or as foot passengers.
Friday 25th May  Depart UK if travelling via Dover – Calais, Harwich – Hook of Holland, or by plane to Amsterdam Schipol airport. Arrive Holland. Check into accommodation. Rest of day free.
Saturday 26th May The Amsterdam Cup starts today with first group games.  Teams are split into groups of 4 or 5 teams. Local excursion, eg Amsterdam if required.
Sunday 27th May  The Amsterdam Cup concludes today with second group games. Teams are split into A and B finals depending on Saturday’s results. Trophy Presentation. Local excursion, eg Ajax Stadium if required.
Monday 28th May Departure day or free day to visit Amsterdam and / or Ajax Stadium,  or enjoy the sport and leisure facilities at your accommodation.
Tuesday 29th May Optional departure day.

Football

The Amsterdam Cup is played on several sports grounds within easy reach of the city. Pitches used are a mix of grass and 3G. All venues have clubhouse with bar, canteen, changing rooms and first aid.
