The city is situated either side of the Vltava River. On the left bank is the castle district which overlooks the city and this area is linked by the famous Charles Bridge to the medieval Old Town and Wencelas Square. The city is like a living museum with its cobbled streets and squares, historic buildings and monuments.

The Prague Veterans 11 a side event is held on the first weekend in May on the outskirts of the Czech capital.¬†
