The historic capital of Portugal has much to offer and Lisbon is fast gaining a reputation as one of Europe's trendiest cities. The best way to explore is by foot and the historic trams that rattle through the streets and hills of the city. Lisbon is transformed at night, when districts such as Bairro Alto and Docas spring to life with a wide range of restaurants, bars and clubs where you can party until dawn. You have the choice of staying in the city centre or on the Lisbon coast, in the fashionable resorts of Estoril and Cascais.
Portugal's second city sits in a beautiful location on both sides of the Douro river, and on it's west side faces the Atlantic Ocean. On the north side of the river is the city centre and the busy Ribeira river side district, which contains much of the city's nightlife. On the south side are the famous Port Houses, famous with Englishmen for generations.
ISL Football Tours also offer tours to the historic cities of Guimaraes, Coimbra and the island of Madeira.
