BARCELONA / COSTA BRAVA / COSTA DORADA

Barcelona, capital of the Catalan region and a vibrant cosmopolitan city of 3 million people, is nestled between the mountains of Catalonia and the Mediterranean Sea. The famous Nou Camp, Las Ramblas, Gaudi, architecture, beaches, cuisine, nightlife, are synonymous with the magnificent city of Barcelona, a city that is steeped in history.

No visit to the city is complete without a pilgrimage to the Camp Nou, home to FC Barcelona, and stadium tours and match tickets can be arranged.

Lloret de Mar, an hour to the north of Barcelona, is the liveliest resort on the Costa Brava with superb sandy beaches and excellent nightlife. There are many bars, clubs, restaurants and tourist attractions in the resort, including Waterworld and Go Karting.

The 4* Olympic Park Resort is located a 10 minute walk from the resort centre and is a superb base for your tour. The hotel has 7 swimming pools, tennis courts, squash courts, table tennis, gymnasium, sauna, solarium, several bars, restaurants, nightclub, and entertainment programme.

Other popular resorts on the Costa Brava include Santa Susanna and Calella.

To the south of Barcelona is the Costa Dorada. The family resort of Salou and its neighbour Cambrils are the most popular destinations offering teams a visit to the nearby Port Aventura Theme Park and an excursion to Barcelona.

Flights are available from most major UK airports into Barcelona main airport, the airports of Girona (Costa Brava) and Reus (Costa Dorada) also serve the region.

COSTA BLANCA / BENIDORM / JAVEA / ALICANTE

The number one resort on the Costa Blanca, Benidorm offers a wide selection of hotels, excellent beaches and great nightlife. Benidorm also has a superb range of attractions including Terra Mitica theme park and Aqualandia Water Amusement Park.

Javea, 45 minutes to the north of Benidorm is a delightful resort with 15 miles of beaches, coves and cliffs, nestling under Mt Mongo. The Old Town and Port area are worth visiting, with their quaint streets, harbourside restaurants and secluded beaches. Trendy bars and restaurants can be found on the bustling Arenal promenade.

Alicante, gateway to the Costa Blanca, is an up and coming beach city destination, ideal for weekend breaks with friendly matches.

The Costa Blanca is easy to reach with flights into Alicante from most UK airports.

BALEARIC ISLANDS / MAJORCA / IBIZA / MENORCA
