A Spring and Autumn 6 a side event for mens (30+) + ladies teams (21+) held twice a year in the Estonian capital.

LOCATION

The beautiful city of Tallinn is the venue for this event held indoors in March and outdoors in September. The capital of Estonia, Tallinn is a city of 450,000 inhabitants situated on the Baltic Sea.

The 13th century medieval streets of the Old Town are a UNESCO World Heritage site and Tallinn is one of the best preserved city centres in Europe. Today Tallinn in an exciting mix of old and new and is the country's cultural and nightllife hub.

ACCOMMODATION

 

3* City Centre Hotel accommodation is provided within easy reach of the Old Town.

The modern and well appointed Go Shnelli Hotel is located next to Tallinn Central Station just 200 yards from Tallinn Old Town. 

Facilities include bar, restaurant, lounge, spa and wellness centre, sauna, casino.

Prices are based on sharing twin room accommodation, private bathroom, wc, satellite TV, free Wi-fi. Buffet breakfast.

Upgrades to the 4* Park Inn by Radisson Spa Hotel available on request. 

  

FOOTBALL

The Tallinn Gentlemens Cup is held twice annually, indoor in March and in November.

The indoor tournament is held in a Soccer dome on a 3G pitch. Both venues are within 20 minutes of the centre of Tallinn.

  

Format is 6 a side. Tournament play is 11am to 4pm approx.

Teams from Estonia always participate with clubs from Finland, Latvia and Lithuania often in attendance. England and Canada have also had representation.   

Trophy presentations are held pitchside at the end of the tournament. 

  

The Tallinn Gentlemen's Cup is played alongside the Tallinn Ladies Cup, for girls aged 21+. This event is popular with teams from Estonia and Finland.   

   

SOCIAL PROGRAMME

A Tournament Party is held on the Saturday night at a local night club. 

  

EXCURSIONS

Day trips to Helsinki are available. The Finnish Capital is just two hours by ferry from Tallinn with several sailings a day are available.   

Tour extensions to St Petersburg, Moscow and Riga also available. 

GETTING THERE

Direct flights with Ryanair and Air Baltic from the UK, or with KLM, SAS, Lufthansa, and other European airlines via Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Frankfurt etc. 

You can also reach Tallinn via Helsinki with Finnair or British Airways.  

Tallinn Airport is located just 3 miles from the city centre.

OUR OPINION

Tallinn is a compact, affordable and beautiful city to host this event which is now  established in the Estonian Capital.

Estonia's season's reveal a different side of Tallinn and we welcome UK and International teams to the Spring and Autumn 2024 editions of this well organised event.
