Town
The Algarve Open Football Tournament is played in Albufeira approximately 30 minutes from Faro airport. The event is held on artificial pitches at a football club complex in Albufeira.
Albufeira is the busiest resort on the Algarve and has a very lively nightlife scene centred on the Old Town and ‘the strip’.
The Algarve’s seemingly endless coastline includes some of Europe’s best beaches and watersports facilities, and is home to some of the world’s finest golf courses. When the sun goes down you’ll find the busy resorts of Albufeira and Vilamoura are ideal for football teams.
