Algarve Veterans Football Tournament THE 4TH ISL ALGARVE VETERANS

£189 per person (3 nights)

We invite teams aged 35+ to compete in the 4th annual ISL Football Tours Algarve Veterans Tournament. The event is held on professional standard pitches in the grounds of the 4* Alfamar Beach & Resort, located directly on the excellent sandy beach of Praia de Falesia.

The Algarve's seemingly endless coastline includes some of Europe's best beaches and watersports facilities, and is home to some of the world's most famous golf courses. When the sun goes down, you'll find the busy resorts of Vilamoura and Albufeira, are just a few minutes away.

Outline Itinerary

Fri 21st Sept:	Meet and greet at Faro Airport. Transfer to Alfamar Beach & Resort. Rest of day and evening at leisure.
Sat 22nd Sept:	The 4th ISL Algarve Veterans Tournament, kicks-off at midday. In between games there's time to relax by the beach or pool. After the tournament there will be a trophy presentation and 'happy hour' at the pitchside bar.
Sun 23rd Sept:	Free time for relaxation, sunbathing, sightseeing. If you're still feeling active play a round of golf on an international standard course, or play an additional friendly football match.
Mon 24th Sept:	Return to Faro airport for your flight back to the UK, you can also extend your stay at a cost of just £30 per person per night.

Accommodation

The 4* Alfamar Beach & Sport Resort is in an excellent location, directly on the beach and surrounded by pine trees. The sport and leisure facilities include professional standard football pitches, outdoor and indoor pools, 15 tennis courts and 5 golf courses within 12 miles.

Other sports and leisure facilities include track and field athletics, volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, fitness room, jacuzzi, sauna, massage and snooker.

The hotel has several bars and restaurant, including poolside and 'Atlantico' beach bar. A souvenir shop, hairdresser and supermarket complete the resort's facilities.

The 264 spacious rooms are twin bedded with bathroom, satellite T.V, radio, safe, air conditioning and balcony. Extra nights are available at £30 per person.

Football

The 4th ISL Algarve Veterans Football Festival is an 11 a side competition and will be played on professional standard grass pitches within the grounds of the hotel. In between matches there's time to cool off in the hotel pool. Games will be 2 x 25 minutes and teams will play 4 games. In 2011 teams represented England, Scotland, Holland and Portugal.

Location

The hotel is situated 15 minutes from Vilamoura and Albufeira, and approximately 30 minutes from Faro airport.

Vilamoura, the sporting capital of Portugal is best known for it's international standard golf courses. The resort's busy marina is surrounded by a huge range of restaurants, bars, luxury hotels, designer shops and casino.

Albufeira is the busiest resort on the Algarve and has a very lively nightlife scene.

Flights are available from most UK airports to Faro, we can provide assistance if required.

Deposit requirements are initial payment of £400 with balance of deposit of £30 per person within 28 days. Balance of tour is due 8 weeks prior to departure.
