The Netherlands is the No.1 destination for touring soccer teams. There are many reasons for this including the excellent football facilities, the friendly English speaking hosts and the wide choice of accommodation, tournament and sightseeing possibilities.

There are a number of football tournaments available throughout the year for youth teams (boys & girls): Netherlands Easter Trophy, Nijmegen Easter Cup, Holland Easter Open, Holland Easter Cup, Den Bosch Cup, Arnhem Whitsun Cup and Amsterdam Cup.

AMSTERDAM
Amsterdam is a fascinating and cosmopolitan city and has long been a favourite destination for our adult teams. Bars open for just about 24 hours a day, a 'coffee' shop culture, and a permissive sex industry may have something to do with this. For nightlife the red light district is a popular attraction, but the Rembrantsplein and Leidseplein also offer Amsterdam nightlife at its best. Both squares have a myriad of bars, restaurants and nightclubs and the atmosphere on a weekend has to be experienced to be believed.

Amsterdam by day is equally fascinating. Tourist images of beautiful canals and buildings, world class museums and excellent shopping facilities become a reality. Sitting in a pavement cafe is a relaxing way of seeing Amsterdammers at work and play. If you are feeling more energetic you can hire pedaloes on the canals.

THE DUTCH COAST
The seaside towns of Noordwijk, Scheveningen and Zandvoort make a perfect base for touring teams of all ages. All the resorts have superb sandy beaches and a wide range of sports and recreational facilities including swimming pools, tennis, mini-golf, bowling and snooker. At night the resorts come alive with bars, discos and an excellent choice of restaurants.

ZANDVOORT is a lively seaside resort less than half an hour from Amsterdam. Many teams choose to stay at Center Parcs, located in the dunes, a short walk from the sandy beach, resort centre and train station. Zandvoort is an excellent base for the many International tournaments in the region.  

NOORDWIJK is situated some 20 minutes north of The Hague and 40 minutes south of Amsterdam. Noordwijk has an attractive pedestrianised shopping centre and a glorious 10 mile long sandy beach. Nightlife is centred on the seafront where there is a fine choice of restaurants and on "De Grenthe" where there are several discos.

SCHEVENINGEN is the seaside resort of The Hague and is 1 hour from Amsterdam. It is the busiest resort in Holland with a lively nightlife on the promenade. Attractions to visit include its Pier, Casino, SeaWorld Centre and Madurodam Model Village.

COASTAL ACCOMMODATION

Center Parcs are available in Zandvoort, near Amsterdam, and at Port Zeelande, south of Rotterdam. The ever popular Duinrell is located near Noordwijk. Kijkduin Holiday Village is near Scheveningen. 

The hotels are well situated in resort centres, with youth hostels located outside of town in the dunes. Budget/Medium/First Class Hotels available in all resorts. Youth Hostels at Noordwijk and Egmond.

VALKENBURG
Valkenburg is situated in the rolling hills of the province of Limburg close to the borders of Belgium and Germany, making it possible to play games in 2 or 3 countries. The resort is especially popular with youth groups as it has a wide range of sports and leisure facilities which include the Valkanier Amusement Park, Toboggan Run, Bowling and Laser Quest. Valkenburg has a lively nightlife with plenty of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and Casino.
