Price includes
2 or 3 nights hostel or 2-3* hotel accommodation with breakfast, return transfers airport - hotel - sports ground, Amsterdam Open participation fees, ISL Football Tours representation, tourist information package and all current taxes.
Travel
Flights are available from many U.K. airports, we can assist if required. Executive coach travel from your club via Dover-Calais, Harwich - Hook, Hull - Rotterdam and Newcastle - Amsterdam is also available, with prices starting at £189 per person, fully inclusive of coach, ferry, 3 nights hotel and Amsterdam Open participation.
Accommodation
We use 2* and 3* hotels in Amsterdam. Teams also have the option of staying on the Dutch coast in the nearby resorts of Noordwijk or Zandvoort.
Football
The 2nd Amsterdam Open is open to men’s 11 a side teams of recreational standard and will be held at splendid facilities in nearby Amstelveen. 16 teams participated in the inaugural event in 2010.
Matches are 2 x 20 minutes and all teams play a minimum of 4 games..
Location
Amsterdam has always been a popular choice for touring teams. Great nightlife and a tolerant attitude has had teams heading here since the 70’s. Amsterdam is easily accessible by air or by coach. Nightlife is centred around the infamous red light district and the Rembrandtsplein and Leidseplein.
Our Opinion
The ‘Dam has always been the No1 destination for adult teams but has lacked a top quality men’s tournament. With the option of travelling by air or by coach we expect a big demand for this new event..
