GERMANY FOOTBALL TOURS

The Rhine-Ruhr conurbation of North West Germany is one of the world's great soccer regions and is home to some of Germany's leading teams including Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Monchengladbach and many other Bundesliga clubs. Journey time from the channel ports is only 4-5 hours making this soccer heartland easily accessible and a popular weekend destination. Further afield we feature Hamburg, Munich, Berlin and other cities which are accessible with low cost airlines.

BREMEN

The busy, hanseatic city of Bremen is located with good airport links to the UK and excellent road and rail links with the rest of Germany.

Near to Bremen, is the Germany Football Festival, a youth tournament for boys aged U11 to U15.

DUSSELDORF

DUSSELDORF is 20 miles north of Cologne and is noted for having some of the best nightlife in Germany.

The Easter German Football Festival is available 29th to 31st March 2024 at Schuttorf by the German - Dutch border for boys and girls teams aged U10 to U19. Please contact us for further details.

The nightlife is concentrated in the 'Aldstadt' by the banks of the Rhine. Here there are hundreds of bars, bistros, discos, rock clubs, live music pubs and beer halls that rock until the early hours.

HAMBURG
HAMBURG is Germany's largest port and second largest city.

Hamburg is well known for its infamous red light area, The Reeperbahn, a mile long boulevard of adult entertainment,  bars, beer halls and restaurants. The city also has an excellent live music scene.

We offer the Laola Cup in early August 2024. The tournament categories are boys U9 to U19 boys and girls U12 to U19.

MUNICH

MUNICH is the major city in Bavaria in the south of the country. It is a beautiful and historic city famous for its Oktoberfest, the annual beer festival held since 1810. The city has many famous beer cellars and beer gardens and Munich ranks as the third largest producer of beer in the world.

The city is also home to Bayern Munich and a visit to the Allianz Arena is well recommended.

BERLIN
BERLIN is Germany's largest city and is a fascinating destination. Since the fall of the infamous Berlin Wall in 1989 and the reunification of West and East Germany, the city has again won the role of German capital.

Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie and the 1936 Olympic Stadium are just a few of the many places of interest. For night owls, Berlin has always had a justified reputation for its superb nightlife.

OTHER CITIES

ISL Football Tours are also pleased to offer tours to the cities of Aachen, Cologne, Dortmund, Dresden, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Nuremburg and Stuttgart.
