The Channel Island of Jersey lies 100 miles from the south of England and just 14 miles from the coast of France. Jersey offers a blend of British and French influences, a fascinating and complex history, and a stunning coastline and landscape.
The Jersey coastline features majestic cliffs, exposed bays, sandy beaches and rocky coves with fantastic vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. Inland you'll find lush valleys, unspoilt countryside and cosy village inns.Â
The island's capital, St Helier, offers tax free shopping, fine restaurants and a lively nightlife with a range of clubs and late night bars to suit most tastes.

Outline Itinerary

Teams arrive Jersey Airport or Jersey Port to be met and transferred the short distance to your hotel.
Check in to hotel, then some time to relax and unwind in the hotel bar or leisure facilities.Â
Bring your golf clubs or hire locally and we'll arrange transport to one of 6 courses on Jersey, including the renowned La Moye close to the airport.
Rest of day free in Jersey's Capital, St Helier, to enjoy the many attractions, bars, restaurants and nightlife.

After breakast you'll be transfered to the award winning Le Quennevais Sports Centre and St Brelades Sports and Social Club for the Jersey Veterans Football Festival. Journey time is around 25 minutes.
Teams will be split into groups of 3, 4 or 5 before progressing to the knock out phase.
The Final will be followed by the trophy presentation in the St Brelades Sports and Social Club Clubhouse.
Return to hotel. Evening free.

Free day to relax, take a stroll around St Helier, visit Fort Regent or Elizabeth Castle, enjoy lunch at one of Jersey's finest restaurants, or catch up on the latest sport action in the Capital's bars. Â
If you're still feeling active play golf or go fishing, or take a stroll along the beautiful bay to the fishing village St Aubins, where you can enjoy a pint in Jim Bergerac's old local!Â
For off island excursions consider a day trip to Guernsey or the beautiful walled port of St Malo in France.
Transfer to the airport or port for your return journey.

Condor ferries (www.condorferries.co.uk) provide a low cost option of travelling to Jersey. Relax on board ship and enjoy the cafe bar, duty free shop and lounge areas.
Sail from Poole or St Malo on the fast sea cat or from Portsmouth on the traditional ferry.
The modern 3* Merton Hotel in St Helier is located a 10 minute walk from the centre of Jersey's capital and its shops, restaurants and nightlife, and a similar distance from the nearest sandy beach at Havre de Pas.
Jersey's biggest resort hotel features an exclusive pool and leisure club. A sub tropical paradise with cascade fountains, slides, lazy river, surfwave, steam room, sauna, outdoor heated swimming pool and fitness centre. A multi sport ball court is available for 5 a side football, hockey, basketball and tennis.Â
The Merton has 6 restaurants, cafes and bars, including Bonettis (Italian) and Jersey Joes (American). The Commentary Box Sports Bar serves a good selection of local and international beers with big screen TVs showing football and other sports.Â
Rooms are twin bedded with en-suite facilities, TV, tea and coffee facilities. Triple rooms are also available if preferred. Single rooms can be provided at a supplement. Free wireless internet.Â

   
For further luxury we offer the fabulous 4* Royal Yacht Hotel on the seafront at St Helier at a supplement of £35 per person per night.
Within the Royal Yacht Hotel there are several bars, nightclub, a luxury spa, fully equipped gym and heated indoor swimming pool, plus three restaurants.
All rooms are luxury twin bedded with contemporary design, flat screen satellite TV, free wi-fi, mini-bar, safe, 24 hour room service.

The tournament is open to men's teams of age 35 and above. A maximum of 16 teams can participate in the competition. All teams will play a minimum of 4 games of 2 x 15 minutes.
NEW for 2024 will be the addition of the 1st Jersey Veterans Walking Football Tournament, details to follow.Â
St Brelades Sports and Social Club will be the hub of the tournament. The club boasts a spacious clubhouse with bar, kitchen, Sky TV, beer terrace overlooking the main pitch.
Matches will also be played within walking distance at Le Quennavais Sport Centre, Jersey. There are four beautifully manicured full size pitches on this modern, attractive complex, which also boasts swimming pool, bar, cafe and other recreational facilities. Le Quennavais is situated just over 4 miles from the capital of St. Helier. All sections of the Jersey media will again be covering the event, including newspapers, radio and television.
