Â A tournament for boys and girls teams played in northern Italy, by the shores of beautiful Lake Garda.

LOCATION

The Verona Cup takes place at beautiful Lake Garda, a short distance from the medieval city of Verona, famous for it's Roman Ampitheatre and the setting for Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet'.Â Â

OUTLINE ITINERARY

Sat 14 OctoberÂ	Optional departure day to Italy.
Sun 15 October	Fly into Verona / Milan / Venice / Bergamo / Bologna. Transfer to Lake Garda. Check into accommodation.Â Team Manager's meeting. Possibility of visit to Serie A match, subject to schedules.
Mon 16 October	The Verona Cup begins with Group games. Tonight there is the Opening Ceremony with presentation of teams and fireworks by Lake Garda.
Tue 17 October	The Verona Cup continues with Group games.Â Optional excursion to the medieval city of Verona, Gardaland Theme Park, Movieland.Â
Wed 18 October	The Verona Cup Finals Day.Â In the evening there is the big Trophy Presentation, followed by Disco Party for all participants.Â
Thu 19 October	Check out of accommodation and transfer to airport for return flight.
Fri 20 October	Optional departure day.

ACCOMMODATIONÂ

Accommodation is provided adjacent to the turquoise waters of Lake Garda.Â

All teams stay at the 5* Camping Bella Italia. This well known camp site offers a variety of accommodation and a wide range of leisure facilities including swimming pools, sports facilities, games rooms and restaurants.

Teams can choose to stay in mobile homes, apartments, bungalows or hotel.

Your stay is on a half board basis (breakfast and evening meal).

FOOTBALL

The Verona Cup is an established International Tournament with teams from Italy, Denmark, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Finland, Poland, Bulgaria and Northern Ireland attending recent editions. More than 2,400 players participated in 2022.

The Verona Cup is a 3 day football tournament played on various sports complexes 5 - 20 minutes of Camping Bella Italia on good quality grass pitches.Â

In the first phase of the competition teams are split into groups with all teams playing each other in the group. In the second knockout phase all teams go into the Verona Cup A + B Finals.Â Â

There are 18 boys and girls categories in total from U10 to U19. Matches are 2 x 20 minutes for 11 a side, and 2 x 15 minutes for 5 and 8 side categories.Â

Age dispensation is allowed for two older players per squad.Â Â

SOCIAL PROGRAMME

The Verona Cup offers a lively social programme with entertainments and shows each evening. There is a big Opening Ceremony with Fireworks and DJ and many other events, including Verona Cup e-tournament that contribute to a good festive atmosphere.

SIGHTSEEING OPTIONS

The ancient and historic city of Verona, close to Lake Garda.

Gardaland Theme Park and Movieland Park within 20 minutes.

Serie A and Champions League Matches, subject to match schedules.

FLIGHTS

Flights are available with low cost airlines to the cities of Verona, Milan, Bergamo, Venice and Bologna.Â Â Â
